Will you exchange links with me?Link exchanges were once considered an incredibly important part of getting noticed on the web, and getting higher ranking in the search engines. Most Search Engine Optimization (SEO) experts no longer hold that to be true. In fact, linking to the "wrong" site (whatever that might mean) runs the risk of actually negatively impacting a sites rankings. As a result, because we don't have the time to evaluate every link request that comes our way, Dolls and Friends no longer participates in mutual link exchanges and have removed our collection of links that were assembled for that purpose. If you have reason or desire to link to Dolls and Friends, we obviously encourage you to do so, with our blessing. However we no longer use that as the sole criteria for linking back to you. If in the course of working on our business and our site we find that your site, or any site, has content that we feel provides value to our customers and visitors, we'll link to that site. It's that simple. Please note that this is on a time-available basis, so we certainly can't guarantee timeliness. Also please note that this is a work in progress, and exactly where we place links to sites we feel are of value might not have been determined yet. Thanks for understanding.
