No Nekkid Dolls!

We're tired of looking at nekkid dolls, so we're putting together dolls, wigs and outfits that we think look good together. We will be selling these dressed dolls as One of a Kinds. We already have several!

Gracefaerie Designs

New!
We are pleased to announce that we are now carrying Gracefaerie Designs patterns for BJDs. They are infinitely customizeable. Also coming soon are BJD patterns by the Patchwork Pansy. These patterns are available in several different sizes, including for the resin Goodreau dolls currently so popular.

Trunk Show!

If you're local, be sure to attend our next trunk show April 19th from Noon-3pm. We have a new artist bringing her BJD creations. You may remember Jyrus from the Puyallup Doll Show last month, where she sold her doll fashions and jewelry. We will be providing beverages, snacks and door prizes so come on down and join us for the fun.

Dollzone

We just received our first shipment from Dollzone, and most items have sold out already. More is on order, including the elven Floy. Celine is in stock now for those in need of a lovely elven lady. We' re very impressed with Dollzone's quality and very affordable price. Pre-order now as the wait for Dollzone can be up to two months.

Dollectable

Looking ahead to July, Jennifer and Kathy will be attending Dollectable in San Francisco. We're looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones. Our friends at Dollheart will be producing an exclusive outfit for us that will be introduced at Dollectable.

Dollzone

New to Dolls and Friends for 2008 are BJDs by Dollzone. We are getting ready to place our first order with them so please do your pre-orders now so we can get you what you want reasonably quickly. We're excited about being able to offer Dollzone, as so many of you have asked for them.

Doll In Mind

Edmon from Doll in Mind has arrived and we are now taking pre-orders for Odelia and Marianne. They have normal skin color now and different faceups. Robel, Byron and Cordelia are in stock now and ready to be shipped.

Winter Fantasy Kathlen

Our own Winter Fantasy Kathlen is on her way from Korea. She's limited to only 20 and is one cute little elf. Her white skin makes her the perfect wintertime doll. Check out all the Winter Fantasy Kathlen photos!

Yumi and Dami

For the first time ever, Elfdoll has just released MSD-sized BJDs. They are limited to 100 each, and their sets include the wig, shoes, eyes, outfit and accessories, as well as fist hands. Optional faceplates are also available with them. Get these twins before they're gone!

Unidoll

Now also in stock from Unidoll are the UH08 elf boy, the UH02 girl and the UH14 elf girl. We are accepting pre-orders for Dark Magician Jace for a few more days yet, and also the new girl UH21. Ark without faceup is in stock for those who prefer doing their own faceups.

Tonner, Effanbee and Alexander

Last Call for Tonner and Effanbee! All of our remaining merchandise is at least 40% off until the end of the February. After that, it's gone for good. If you've been holding off, wait no longer.

And, part of cleaning house for 2008, all Alexander Dolls are now at least 30% off.

January and February Trunk Shows

Our January trunk show will be on Saturday January 26 from Noon until 3pm. If you're in the area we hope you'll make plans to stop on by and say hello!

Soom

For the SOOM aficionados, we now have quite a few in stock. Leading the pack are the newer Laon and Nion, as well as the classic Gena and Godo. Uyoo Time to Say Goodbye and Quite Rabbit are in, among others. Then there are those wonderful SOOM eyes in a smattering of colors. If your doll needs new peepers, they're irresistible.

Dollheart

Many new items from Dollheart have just arrived and are ready to ship, such as the Yo-SD sized outfits Christmas Deer and Christmas Bear. Both these sweet little outfits come with their own scarves and caps for cozy winter wear. New shoes and boots have also just arrived.

In other Dollheart news, due to popular demand, our exclusive Wine and Ivory Fers will be put up on the website again later this week. Only 20 will be made of each, and no more, that's it, REALLY. At least in SD size... :)

Alice the Pig

Dolls and Friends has apparently become "Pig Central" for Alice fans everywhere. Sooo-eeee!

We still have a few of Alice Cherry Blossom: Gothic Hoody and Ballerina left. Alice is even cuter in person than her pictures show. Kathy fell for her right away and now Alice has joined the resin zoo at home along with Baha and Curo. Alice and her outfits are due to arrive in time to be shipped out for Christmas, according to Elfdoll.

For the first time ever we have Michiko satyr wigs in stock. They are made by a talented designer in Los Angeles and are of high quality. Available in sizes 6-9 and two color combinations, the wigs have horns that are easily removed for a tamer look. The horns can also be used with other wigs. Just in time to keep your dolls warm this winter, socks and tights by sewing expert Dale Rae have arrived. With lots of colors and styles to choose from, you should have no trouble finding something your dolls will love. Even more colors and sizes will be coming early next year.

Sleeping Baha

Sleeping Baha will be making her debut as soon as we can get her unpacked. We're sure she'll be even more cuddly than regular Baha, with that charming little sleeping face. Don't forget to pre-order your Black Basic Nero or Special Christmas Heero in the next day or two, as we will be sending in our order to Pipos before the end of the week.

Kathy's "Mini-Musing"

Unbelievably (at least to us) September marked Dolls and Friends' 13th anniversary! Many things have changed in the last 13 years. When we started, Muffy VanderBear was hot. Gene Marshall came along a couple of years later, and reignited the fashion doll craze. Beanie Babies came along, and brought out the best-and worst-in people. Porcelain dolls were popular, as were Madame Alexanders.
