Adora Dolls

The Adora Company was conceived to produce quality porcelain dolls. Its staff traveled throughout Europe, studying the dolls in museums and doll schools. In 2000, the company began producing high-quality vinyl dolls. With its years of experience in doll artistry, the vinyl dolls made by Adora are known for their exquisite faces and outfits.

In its continuing effort to create baby dolls that little girls of all ages will love, the company solicits feedback on prototypes from retailers and collectors. The care Adora takes in producing its baby dolls has resulted in industry recognition. At least two dolls have won DOTY (Doll of the Year) Industry Choice Awards, and others have been nominated for the DOLLS Magazine Awards of Excellence.

Collectors have taken Adora baby dolls to their hearts. The dolls are also popular for play, their realistic appearance and weighted bodies having wide appeal. Extra outfits make them even more fun.

Adora baby dolls are available in two collections. The Limited Edition line features dolls sculpted by Adora's own artists as well as widely recognized artists Beverly Stoehr and Pat Moulton. Edition sizes are small, depending partly on the amount of fabric available for each outfit. Each doll is 22" tall and weighs 4#.

The "Name Your Own Baby" line offers a wide variety of faces, hair and eye color, gender and skin color. Their outfits are highly varied and detailed. These babies are 20" or 22" and weigh about 3lb.
